Anki Vector 2.0 is the second-generation home robot from Anki. We tested it for 6 weeks in our Long Island City lab, evaluating it on a hardwood floor with simulated home conditions. The Vector 2.0 is a compact desktop AI robot with a four-microphone array, a 720p camera, and a quad-core processor that runs SLAM locally. The robot can recognize faces, answer questions, and integrate with smart home systems. We gave it 3.8/5 in our test, with the biggest strengths being responsiveness and software ecosystem.
